Originally from New York City, through Virginia and Maryland and now home in Winter Haven, Florida. Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Throggs Neck projects in the Bronx. Sports, rollerskating, and music were a big part of my life growing up. I was actually part of a rap group called the On Time Brothers…. Yeah, y’all probably never heard of them outside of my neighborhood. Throggs Neck Projects is the birthplace of some of the most talented men and women that have been under the radar. I grew up being a very shy young man and once I joined a group of young girls and boys called the Dancers of Tomorrow (a community lead/directed by Tonya Brown), that helped me be brave enough to perform on stage. With the On Time Brothers, and with the help of some very close friends of mine to this day) we made a local name for ourselves, one we were and are very proud of.
My ‘Why’ is my son. A young man who suffers from a mental disorder and has become very distant for many years. As a young man who looked to take on the film industry by storm and somehow he took a turn when a mental disorder took over and the son I knew changed. He also had admirations on working with the community under the Brand name Denoyi. Unfortunately he has not been able to finish. I dedicate this Community Based Internet Radio Station journey to him in hopes he somehow understands Luv and the importance of fighting for your spirit and using all your willpower to fight and just remember the universe Luvs you and so do I.
Practice, choreography, learning our equipment and booking shows was very important. We even had a photographer LOL. I had, and as you can now see, and still have, a huge love for music. With the birth of my son, I had to weigh my options and needed to find a 9-5 to try and be a responsible father. Man oh man the struggles that came. Nevertheless, No regrets.
With the birth of Hip Hop, I KNEW it would become much more. Life has a way of bringing you back full circle. So here I am starting a community radio station in the Town of Winter Haven FL. This town, the water ski capital of the world, home of Legoland, has a little bit of everything and should be shared by the world. My goal is to focus on small businesses by spreading the Luv for community, be it food, social activities, arts, festivals, events, local talent and all genres of music. I will cover all genres and ethnicity because LuvIsLuv.

Our Life In Winter Haven
Living in Florida is a new experience. The weather is gorgeous, although sometimes a little too hot. Florida is HUGE, with so many things to see and do. We would like to see and try as many things as possible throughout the state, but our primary focus will be in our city, Winter Haven to start. It is home of Legoland, formerly Cypress Gardens. It is also the Ski Capital of the World, and we have monthly FREE Ski Shows… Crazy Awesome!!!😁
My daughter bought us a map of Florida, with colored stick pins, so we can visually see where we have been and where we want to go. Soo excited! As we explore our city and state, we will be sharing the good, the bad, and the outstanding with you all here. From restaurants, entertainment venues to outdoor spaces and anything you might enjoy.
One of the many challenges we faced when we moved was where do we eat?! We cook at home a lot and entertain more than most, but still love worry-free delicious food out. A recent post on “Nextdoor App” my favorite 😁 questioned where to get the best Southern Fried Chicken in the area. In my next submission, I will share what locations the users on Nextdoor recommended and what our group of testers think. Stay tuned and “Have a gread day every day On Purpose”
